The Maine - Visions

Friday, 03 Jan 2014

Last night I saw you in a dream
I’m still not sure just what it means
Tonights before much of the same
I found you dancing on the back of my brain

Hallucinating things I find in my head
Illuminating the right side of my bed

And we kissed and we fought
I laughed and you screamed
Oh I’ve learned to love these
Goddamn visions
But I just can’t wait to fall back to sleep

Oh I woke up and I felt let down
You tied up your sliver hair and left this town
Your three hundred something miles away
I close my eyes and all I see is your face

Hallucinating things I find in my head
Illuminating the right side of my bed

And we kissed and we fought
I laughed and you screamed
Oh I’ve learned to love these
Goddamn visions
But I just can’t wait to fall back to sleep

Hallucinating

And we kissed and we fought
I laughed and you screamed
Oh I’ve learned to love these
Goddamn visions
But I just can’t wait, I just cant wait
No I just cant wait, to fall back to sleep
The Maine released an acoustic EP (extended play) called 'Imaginary Numbers' and they're on an acoustic tour too! It's called "An Acoustic Evening with The Maine". The songs in Imaginary Numbers are originally poems written by the front man John O'Callaghan and the band decided to turn it into songs! You can find the poems on John's blog at http://thefifthjohn.tumblr.com/. Seriously, the EP is so beautiful. I have no words. Give it a listen and you'll understand me. **I saw them play last night and I swear to god it's the best night ever**
